Good morning all, welcome to Tuesday.

Yesterday felt like a cross between a pause day, and some real desperation. At one point, the market was up sharply, but just like Friday, a lot of the air came out of it and it struggled to stay green.

Good morning folks, welcome back from your weekend. I hope you all had a great mothers day, and spent some real quality time with them. For those of you who have already lost your mom, I'm sure you spent some time yesterday reflecting on how great she was.

Our Moms day was just fine with me. For the first time in months, we had a slow steady rain that started at about 1 pm, and lasted into dark. That kept us all inside, and we spent the day with my mom, just watching some TV and chatting. It was fine with me. Oh, and not to mention the fantastic dinner we put together for her. Yes, it was a fine day.

Good morning everyone, and yes it's another one of those Friday's again. I'm simply amazed at how fast they sneak up on us.

So, the market did it's breakout thing on Wednesday and Thursday it decided to keep the party going. As I had told you all over the last month, that if the market resolves itself to the upside, and finally gets over it's 50 days, it could be powerful. Well it has been.

Good morning everyone, welcome to Thursday.

NOTE>>>  I will be sending the "metals" article out Friday afternoon ( tomorrow) as the afternoon update. In it, I'm going to discuss some plays we will probably be instigating soon.  So be on the lookout for that.

It's that time of the year when storms are going to start playing havoc with us. I happened to look at the 16 day outlook on the GFS, and there it was, a tropical storm getting ready to hit Cuba. So, in today's free investing newsletter, we talk about some of the pitfalls of cell phones and how to try and protect ourselves.

In the market commentary, we talk about today's breakout over the 50 day moving averages. Is it real? Three times in three months the market has exceeded the 50's only to fade back down and sink down to the 200 day moving averages. Is this the time it sticks, or is this attempt number 4?

We discuss that and a lot more, so please read today's free investment newsletter and see where we stand with it.

That Time Of Year
A few weeks ago,  for a day, our entire region was out of Verizon telephone service. A few texts would dribble out now and then, but no talk service was available from Tampa all the way to Fort Myers.
Verizon was down. For some it was an inconvenience. For others it was truly a life and death matter. Why? Because more people today have cell phone service than hard lines at their homes. With Verizon down, no one on their network could call 911.  People with severe medical problems were in a panic.

Morning all, welcome to Wednesday.

Okay, so Trump went ahead and tore up the Iran nuclear agreement. The market didn't quite know what to think about that, as his decision wasn't supposed to take place until after May 12. So the algo's didn't quite know what to do with this new news.

Morning all.

Well that was rude. Yesterday the market was doing its low volume attack on the 50 day moving averages. Although the volume was indeed punk, a lot of things were moving in a lot of sectors. It looked like they might succeed in finally breaching the 50 days, and possibly putting on a sustainable run.

Good morning everyone, welcome back from your weekend. Hopefully it was a great one for you all.  Down here in sunny Florida, the "season" is beginning to switch. The dry season started in November, and by and large, it simply hasn't rained for months. Sure we'd get the occasional spritz, but no real rain. But June officially starts the rainy season, and now that we're in May, the first looks at some rain are beginning.

Back By Request!
I wrote this in May of 2016, just as a lot of the Country was starting to get their gardens going. Well, it’s funny. On a daily and weekly basis, we beat up on Wall Street, the frauds, the manipulations, etc. Yet sometimes it’s when I go off the rails onto a totally different topic that I get the most responses.
This was one of them, and wouldn’t you know it, this past week I had 2 people write in with questions about this very letter. So, considering the timing, I dug it up and want to repost it, with a few slight changes.
