Morning all, welcome to a new week. I hope your weekend was a good one for you all.

This weekend didn't go as planned for me, I'm fighting some form of cold or something, and had the ambition of a snail. No hike, no bike ride, I sat on my butt all day Sunday just reading.

Today's free investing  newsletter is up, and we're having a bit of fun in this issue. If you haven't noticed, where's like 20 Democrats that have either declared their intentions to run in 2020 or they've suggested they might. Does the DNC really want 20+ Democrats running against each other? Or is there a plan here?

I'm not going to spill the beans, but I have a whole different theory on what's going to happen. So please take a few minutes and read what this nutcase ( me) thinks is going to surprise everyone about a year from now.

Let’s Have Some Fun!

I remember during previous “Presidency’s” going weeks, if not months without the slightest mention of what the President was doing. Oh sure, if there was a summit of some form, or some new legislation passed, you might see the President on TV or hear of a radio interview, but all in all, the news wires were full of all manner of things NOT related to the President.

Good morning all, we've come upon another one of those Friday things. This one's a bit off kilter for me, I have to deliver my wife to some form of industry meeting this morning at 9 am. So I won't physically be here to listen to the famed "jobs report"

I'll catch up on all that stuff when I get back.

Good morning all, I hope your day is going well.

So, yesterday the market was in a grumpy mood once again. They tried a couple half-hearted attempts at higher, but none of them stuck, and we ended the day red across the board.

This morning the futures were red again. We had the DOW off about 120 for a while. Then "like magic" all the red went away and we were green by 30. What happened?

In today's free investing newsletter, we're talking about the latest "buzzword" which is MMT, or "modern Monetary theory"

You're going to hear a lot about this boondoggle, because it's becoming a major theme for the left, as they run for the 2020 elections. Why? Well promising free college and free healthcare to all, comes with an enormous cost, so if they can convince you that all we need to do is print all the money we need, that's MMT!

Give today's letter a good read folks. The left truly believes this is a real approach, and we're going to be hearing an awful lot about it as we approach 2020.

MMT the New Old Buzzword

One of the themes you’ll see recently is this push for acceptance of “MMT” or modern monetary theory.  As we’ll see, this isn’t a new concept, it’s simply one that’s being given a lot of air time because our current politics have a lot of communist/socialists on board. Consider Bernie for example. He freely admits hes a socialist.

Good morning all, welcome to "hump" day.

Yesterday the market put in a long boring day, with less than stellar volume.  The overhead resistance of 2800 is still holding up, and frankly each day that goes by emboldens the bears.

Morning all, are you ready for some more crazy?

Yesterday, the market rolled over, peeling off 400 DOW points and looking "ugly".   But then the magic happened and they cut that loss in half. The S&P was really looking horrid, and when the final bell rang, it was only down 10 points.
