Good morning all, welcome back from the weekend. Depending on where you live, it might have been pretty chilly for you. Down here in Florida, Saturday was clear and nice until late afternoon when the rain and cool rolled in. But it wasn't a passing thing, we stayed cold and rainy all night and all day Sunday. Well that was okay for me, I needed a day to just lay around and watch TV; because...I woke up with some sort of a cold, and felt horrible. Oh well, it happens.

This weekend a lot of the worlds movers and shakers flew into Asia for the APEC meeting being held this week in China.

Good morning folks, the madness continues.......

Yesterday the S&P put in a good showing, and even the DOW made it to slightly greed despite IBM missing earnings by a mile. After the close and Apple's earnings, there was a flurry of futures action, and then the air started coming out. Futures were drifting lower and once again there was the all too familiar "save".

Are we ready for this?  That's right folks, it's jobs day, an event that comes once a month and often turns into something of a circus. Let me explain...

The economic cheerleaders like Zandi have been telling us how wonderful the economy is for about 5 years now. Last month they were talking in whispers about the US job market adding almost 300K jobs for the previous month. When the number hit, it didn't even make 150K, and of those, the BLS injected 102K via the "Birth/Death" model. Jobs that really don't exist.

So, until that hits, let's talk about a few other things....

This morning we awoke to DOW futures showing a negative 100 points. Well, didn't we just have an almost 200 point gain on Friday? We did. So, what's the Issue??  Let's see....

Overnight the Chinese ministry put out a huge amount of fluff economic news and all of it was "better than expected"... (now there's something new)

But in any event it didn't levitate the morning futures as news like that usually does. So we expected a
