Hello folks, welcome to Tuesday.

Today starts the two day Fed meeting which in my opinion will end tomorrow with a quarter of a point rate hike. In more normal times, the fear of a rate hike would have the market's diving, but as I mentioned Sunday, in this atmosphere of Central bank liquidity, momentum, tax strategies and performance chasing, they'll "probably" ignore this hike.

Good morning everyone and welcome back from your weekend. Was it full of running around doing Holiday shopping? Or was it "same ole, same ole" for you? Down here in Sunny Florida "it" finally happened. The same cold front that brought snow all the way from Atlanta up through Maine made a stop down here first. No, we didn't get snow, but saturday was rainy and windy and then Saturday night the temps dropped like a rock.

Today in the commentary section of the Free Investing Newsletter, we are running an article penned by Doug Casey. When we find articles that have merit and are worthy of pondering, we like to repost them and give the author credit. So today Doug talks about the new Fed head and what it means for the financial markets going forward.

It's a pretty good read. Nothing that you might not have found in our pages in the past, but a couple items that might make you think about some investing directions for the coming years. Give it a read, it's certainly worth your time.

When I stumble onto something that someone else has written, and I think it’s worthy of consideration, I gladly reprint it and give credit to the author. Below, we have Doug Casey talking about the few Fed head, and what could be coming at us in the next couple years. I think it’s a decent article, and worth the read.

Good morning all, we've made it to yet another Friday.

Yesterday the market put in a bounce, and the question of the day was this: Would it be a one day wonder, a dead cat bounce, or was it the start of a real move up?  My guess was that it was fairly real, and we'd see the market get back at least half of the points it lost over the Monday-Wed. selling. But it was and is just a guess.

Good morning everyone, and welcome to a new day.

NOTE>>  Today my wife is throwing a little Holiday party for her employees to drop by the office, pick up a gift, and have a bite to eat. So chances are good that I won't be posting an afternoon update, I'll probably be helping her host her little gathering.

The other day we talked about some of the topics that I don't really like to comment on. There's simply some things that I won't share, simply because I don't need the push back. So this week we talk about Dr. Skidmore, a Michigan professor that looked into the claims that Uncle Sam's budget is off by 7 trillion dollars.

What he found was it was whacked by 21 trillion. And he's trying to figure out how that's possible. For 21 trillion to be missing, it first had to be there. Where'd it come from? Can you say black budget, off book accounting?? Indeed. So, take a read of this, it's pretty good stuff.

The other day I made mention of the fact that often I “know things” but I’m a bit hesitant to lay them out. Most of you probably thought old Bob was drinking too much and wanted to make believe he was a big shot. No, it’s none of that. What it is, is simply a desire not to wake up dead.

In Today's letter we're talking about the sorts of information that can get web sites, and even "people" shut down. Yeah, it's all sorts of conspiracy talk!

What Do I know?

The other day I published a story, along with a link that would take you to a page where you could see one of the biggest heists of all time. It’s the story of how Leader Technologies created the code that allowed for things like the social media platforms to exist. And yet the technology was stolen.
