Hello all, we've made it to Fed day.

So, last night AAPL beat the estimates and the stock was up big after hours. This morning AAPL is indicated to be up 9 bucks a share, and all that joy and giddiness has spread through the rest of the market. At 8 am we see the DOW implied to open +73 and the S&P up 6.

Good morning all, let's get to it.

First off, Capital One has announced that they've been hacked and the information of some 100 million people was compromised to some extent. If you're a capital one card holder, or have a vehicle loan through them, I'm sure that Cap one will be sending you instructions to get free credit monitoring.

Good morning all and a big welcome back from your weekend. We trust it was a wonderful one for you.

This morning isn't going nearly as smoothly as I'd like for a Monday. At 5:05, we hard the power go down. ( easy to tell  now adays, everything beeps at you, and the A/C shuts down)

Hi all, it's another  Friday.

So yesterday they put on a pout party. Why? Well when Mario Draghi didn't cut rates, and only talked about doing so in the near future, the initial reaction was "okay that's good enough,"  But as the morning went on they started to grumble about it and by mid afternoon, we had the DOW off 200. I guess they wanted to show our own Powell that not acting quickly will be met with selling.

Hello everyone, welcome to Thursday.

Well, Draghi didn't cut rates, which surprises me. The "fact" was/is that expectations by Wall Street  were for no cut today. I just thought he might belly up to the bar and give them a jolt. He passed on that, but laid out pure language that says "yes rate cuts are coming and oh by the way, we'll probably be doing QE by September"

The latest issue of the Financial Intelligence Report is up, and in this one we discuss the concept that we could be looking at 3 separate "market friendly" events starting Thursday the 25th. We have the ECB making statements about policy, then Friday we have a delegation going to China to discuss trade, and then next Wednesday we get our own Fed moving on rates.

I discuss the options and no pun intended, how we're using options to play it.

The Triple Play?

Hey, before we get into today’s article, I want to pass along something that I find interesting. Maybe it can help you or a family member.

Morning everyone, welcome to Wednesday.

Well, yesterday the market decided that it wasn't happy being "sideways and down" and so, it went up. Way up.

Mornin all, it's a new day.

So the market fought through a sluggish day yesterday, ending the session a bit mixed. The S&P managed a nice gain, but because of Boeing, the DOW just barely made it green by 17.

Good morning all, welcome to another week in wacky land. I hope yours was excellent as usual?  Well, mine was for a while, then sort of deteriorated. This is what I wrote last night to Horizons subscribers:

Saturday I was pressed for time, because the wife and I were going to a big time Gala event for the Fred Lang Foundation. They help people with mental disabilities, suicide prevention, depression, etc.
