Good morning all, welcome to a new day.

Today is supposed to be somehow special for me, because as much as I hate to admit it, it's my birthday. 62 years ago, some doctor whacked me, and brought me screaming into the world.

Good morning everyone, welcome to a new day.

Sorry I didn't have any late day updates yesterday, they sent me all over creation getting different "tests" and I didn't get home until 4:20. Sheesh.

Intentions

Over the course of the past two weeks, the news hasn’t been kind to the tree huggers. Now, before anyone goes off on me about being an environmental Nazi, please. Use your head. Few people talk as much as I do about God’s magnificent earth, and the sights and creatures on it.

The wife and I enjoy long hikes through the parks and bike rides to the beach. We love nature. Our yard is a bird feeding haven. Just last week we marveled at the sight of some 30+ deer emerging from the treeline to enjoy an evening much on the acres of grass at the park.

Good morning all, welcome back from your 3 day Holiday weekend. I truly hope it was a special time for all of you.

We decided to go to a Saturday evening Easter service at my sons favorite church. It was a beautiful service, and when we got out, it was only a little after 7 pm. I wasn't in any hurry to get home and vegetate, and the weather was so incredibly perfect, we wanted to enjoy it some. Any time you have 68 degrees, unlimited visibility, and almost zero humidity in Florida, you have to go enjoy it.

Hi all, welcome to your new day.

So yesterday the S&P poked its head over that 2800 level and tried its best to stay there. But gravity took a toll and we went into the close with the index slightly below that benchmark.

This morning I woke to slightly red futures and heading into 8 am they're still a bit pink. We see the DOW implied to open about 60 points lower.

Good morning all, welcome to another day of utter madness!

Yesterday the market was plodding along for the first half of the day, and then in the second half, it decided it was a great time to pour on a bunch of points. So, heading into 2 pm, we had a nice pop higher, and then in the last 40 minutes of the day, we lurched higher again.

Good morning all, welcome back from your weekend. I know for all my northern friends that the cold has been putting a damper on some of your activity. Just so you weren't completely alone, the weather soured here in Florida and we got swamped with a steady downpour of rain for 14 hours.

Hi all.

Before we get started, let me mention that I hope all of you are staying healthy out there. Various strains of flu, and colds and bugs are sweeping all over Florida, and it's not pretty. Several people I know are down with everything from Strep throat to full blown flu.

Hello all, welcome to another day in this crazy market.

I got up early this morning, found some coffee and settled into my office chair. I flipped on the monitor, and the first thing I saw was the DOW futures up 106 points. Okay, nothing blew up over night.

Then we got the build up to JP Morgan's earnings release. All the analysts were getting excited, but when the earnings hit... they missed. Big.

Morning all, we've made it to yet another Friday.  Another week has flown by like a shot, and it makes my head spin.  But there was one thing about this particular morning that was much different than every one since about March.

When I stumbled into the kitchen to get some coffee, my wall mounted weather station said "50" degrees outside. 50! Holy cow!  For perspective, 50 down here is like 20 up north. People wear coats, and boots, it's quite comical.
