Hello all. In a way it feels like yesterday was a Sunday and I'm welcoming you back from the weekend. But no, it's simply a Thursday morning after a big Holiday. So, how was it? Did you have a fun day, full of BBQ, a few beers and good times with friends and family? Or was it just another day?

Good morning all, we've made it to another Friday.

Okay, so Tuesday we reached down almost to the S&P 200 day. Then Wednesday they let it dip just a bit more before the  rescue kicked in. Yesterday, they figured that everything was just fine and up we went. While we didn't close at the highs of the day, lets not kid ourselves. We gained 238 on the DOW and about 28 on the S&P.

Good morning all, we've made it to another Friday. I hope it turns out to be a good one for you.

Yesterday the "melt up" machine went bonkers. The Algo-bots latched on to any and every piece of news that seemed to be "good" and just continued to build up the market.  By the time it was over, the DOW was up over 200. The S&P up almost 20.

Good morning everyone, we've made it to another one of those Friday things that seem to get here faster each year.

Except for the flow of earnings releases, the overnight session was pretty quiet. MSFT was the "big one" and they did pretty well. Interestingly, after their release they were up strongly, then faded to go red. This morning they've inched back to green.

Another Friday. But not just any Friday, this is the Friday ahead of what many are turning into the 4th of July Friday. Many many Wall Streeters have already fled the city and don't plan to return until Wednesday. With the Holiday on Tuesday, and the market only open half a day Monday, they bailed out and started their long weekend.

Hello everyone, welcome to a new day. Oh wait...it's another Friday!  They just keep on rolling in.

So, how do we explain yesterday?  Well, the ECB did what I figured they'd do, they announced that the billions are coming for months on end, and while they didn't mention it in the press statement, Draghi himself said that if there was any worry about growth they'd increase the QE again. That was music to the market's ear.

Happy Friday to you all, and please by all means, I really hope you all have a truly wonderful weekend.  If you have anyone who's been in the service, this weekend is really quite special.

Friday.  How on earth can it be Friday already? I don't know, but it most certainly is.

So yesterday was "that day".  What day is that, you ask?  How many times have I moaned about the fact that you can't really go short this market, because it feels that at "any time" they'll put on one of those mindless 200 point romps?  I'd say I've mentioned that so many times you're tired of hearing it.

Good morning everyone, welcome back from your extended Holiday. Naturally I hope that it was a tremendous affair and that you got to see loved ones and had a marvelous time.

But now it's back to work time and boy have the powers that be....been busy.

Hello everyone, welcome back from your long weekend. ( I hope you did have a long weekend and didn't have to burn it up working!)

Down here on the West coast of Florida, most backyard cookouts got slammed once again with tremendous rains. It has been the wettest year in history down here. Just north of us, they reported that we've gotten over 54 inches of rain this year SO FAR. The average for the whole year is 26. Wow.
