Good morning all, welcome to a new day.

Wasn't yesterday a hoot? Out of the gate big, pushing for new highs, and then all of a sudden the air came out and from up 80, we went red by 26. The details of the tax reform plan was being "leaked" and they didn't love it.
But then Trump got on TV in a live interview, and he pushed it as the best thing since sliced bread. The market bought it hook, line and sinker.

Hello everyone, welcome to Thursday.

After two days of soggy action, they weren't about to make it three and they came in pretty heavy yesterday. We closed the show with the S&P gaining 13, the DOW up 66 and the NASDAQ up 40. Naturally, that equates to "all time highs". Again. For about the 20th time this year.

Good morning all, welcome to "Thanksgiving Eve" so to speak.

If today follows history, we'll open okay, gain a bit,... and then sit there for the balance of the day going nowhere. Most of the senior traders will punch out by 11 am, and leave the juniors and the robots to guard things.

Frankly I was a bit surprised at how weak Monday and Tuesday were. Usually the market magically levitates on Thanksgiving week, but so far all it's been able to do is "hover" around the unchanged line. I think that tends to show just how stretched and desperate this market is.

Good morning all, welcome to another day of very interesting news flow...

We all know what happened yesterday. The Elections were over, and the market put in a push higher. Maybe it was the hope of getting the Country going, maybe it was just a relief about finally getting past the Elections.

Our warning however was the one day does not a new trend make, AND we would be seeing more news that could influence the direction of the market. So, while it lookied and felt good, we aren't ready to come out and say "buy everything".
