Morning all, how's your day? I hope it's better than mine.

Yesterday am, I woke up with an annoying pain in my wrist. It was very localized to a specific spot, and hurt like hell to move it.
It didn't get any better and I used ice on it  last night. This am it's considerably worse. Just the act of typing this is akin to masochism.

Oh and no, I have no recollection of any form of trauma. I didn't fall, hit it, etc. Very out of the blue.

Morning all, welcome back from your weekend. I'm hopeful it was a really good one for you all.

Down here, mother nature showed why so many people head to Florida for the winter. Both Saturday and Sunday were picture perfect days, with temps in the 80's.  We pretty much wasted Saturday doing routine "stuff", but did manage a wonderful walk on Sunday.

Another Friday has fallen in our lap. I am constantly amazed at how fast they come.

Sometimes people don't believe in the "power" of technical levels. The reason being that they don't "always" work. But then again, NOTHING always works. You look at he percentages. When something happens more than 50% of the time,  in market land, that's worthy.

Good morning all, I trust you're feeling fine this day.

So, yesterday was a long borefest as the indexes simply sat there running in place. Volumes were punk, and the market felt a bit heavy.

Good morning everyone, welcome to Thursday and all the fun you can stand.

Okay, maybe not "all" the fun you can have. Ha.

The futures this morning have been fading since I first looked at 5 am. At that early hour, the DOW was off just 20, and now as I write this at 8 am, they're down to where the implied open is - 125.

Good Morning all.  Welcome back from your Veterans day weekend.

As always, I hope it was a great weekend for you all. Down here in Sunny FL, it was a good time, especially Sunday. The VA home in Port Charlotte put on a really wonderful ceremony and "BBQ" for all the Vets, and because my wife does business with them, we were invited to it.  That was very special.

How rich was that? All day, and I mean literally all day the DOW was down about 120 and the S&P was down 10. But hey, it's the first day of the new month/new quarter and they can't have their precious market looking weak, so what happens? They engage the magic levitation machine and up we go, ending the day green across the board.

Is that the results of millions of individual investors across the globe, all  deciding it was the perfect time to save the 50 day moving average? HELL NO.

Good morning everyone, welcome back from your weekend. Hopefully it was a great one for you all.  Down here in sunny Florida, the "season" is beginning to switch. The dry season started in November, and by and large, it simply hasn't rained for months. Sure we'd get the occasional spritz, but no real rain. But June officially starts the rainy season, and now that we're in May, the first looks at some rain are beginning.

Well that was interesting, eh?  In the morning I had put it on the table that there's still a chance for a pop and drop, and boy did we get a pop and drop. From up 130 in the early going, we were down 619 points a little after 2 pm. Then, of course the short sellers started covering and we bounced into the close with the DOW down 425 and the S&P off 35.

Good morning everyone, welcome to Wednesday.

It happened again. As you know I've been a bit shy of this market, and for days we've been sitting with no open positions. After the 669 point up day on Monday, many thought that this is is, it's up  up and away.  I wasn't so sure. Yes I expected a dead cat bounce. No I didn't expect 600+ points. But, one day doesn't a true trend make, and I wasn't thrilled about the way the market opened fairly big on Tuesday and actually gave it all up and went red.
