Hi all.

Well I did it!  ( I think I did anyway!)

It took me two hours longer than it takes the wife, but it seems like I got payroll done, I scanned all the activity reports that need to go to clients, sent all the paid invoice notes, etc.

Good morning all, welcome to Wednesday.

Yesterday I had to pick up my sister from the air port and deliver her to my mom's house. As is often the case the flight was a bit late, and then the baggage area couldn't find one of her bags for a while. Classic. But we pulled it all off and when I got to the office, I found myself in an interesting place. I owned 6 positions.

Good morning all, welcome to yet another Friday.

So yesterday the market had a particularly bad day. Bond yields, along with a lot of weakness in emerging markets, coupled with some troubling words out of the Chinese economy all added up to a pretty sloppy session.

Good morning all, I hope the day finds you well....

They closed out yesterday with a pretty good showing. However like the day before it, there was a time or two where the DOW wasn't far away from going red. That shows us that as much as they're still deploying new money in areas, there are people heading for the exits. It will be interesting to see who wins in the longer term.

Good morning all, we've made it to hump day.

If you've flipped on your monitors or TV's you see the futures are up fairly strongly this morning. After everyone had lost hope about a deal in oil land, it appears that the Saudi's have flinched to some extent and a small production cut is now being acknowledged.  That was enough to jam oil up over 3 bucks, and that of course took stocks with it.

Good morning all, welcome to Wednesday.  Let's see what's in store...

Yesterday they allowed a red session. After dipping as low as 2147 they jumped in and got back 10 points, ending the day at 2157.  So, they manufactured a bounce that took them over 2155, which I thought was an important level.

This morning the futures are a bit red. By a bit, I mean the DOW is off 30, the S&P off 3.  That's basically nothing.
