Good morning everyone, how's your day so far?  I'm still fighting off an annoying "cold" or something. It's not really making me sick, but I'm a little stuffy, and I don't have much in the way of energy. Oh well, this too shall pass.

Good morning folks, welcome to Wednesday.

Yesterday was "more than I expected" and I'm not shy saying it.  Any fears that funds might cut their exposure, and lock in at least partial profits, went out the window yesterday.  Evidently this market is unable to go down.

This morning the futures look pretty good, but there's a bit of a headfake there, as fair value is really quite high too. At 8:20 we see the DOW futures up 46, but the fair value is + 46. So technically we'd open "flat" if that holds.

Good morning all, happy Tuesday to you.

What the heck was yesterday? While the NASDAQ continued it's run, the DOW and the S&P were having issues. Yes the DOW only closed red by 27 and yes the S&P actually stayed green by 4. But volume was punk, and overall it was a pretty sorry session.

Good morning all, we've made it to Friday! Hurray!

Yesterday they once again couldn't get us green for the close. Certainly we were well off the lows, but green was too elusive

Hello everyone, welcome to the first trading day of the new year.

Entering into 2015, it is my belief that we are going to witness some tremendous upheavals this year. No I'm not just talking about the incessant market run up which will probably come to some form of an end...I'm talking about big picture items. I'm talking about the future of the Euro-zone, the rising importance of the BRICS, I'm talking about the Eur-Asian pacts. I'm talking about the West's push to see armed conflict in Russia. I'm talking about the eventual death of the US dollar as the reserve currency.
