Good morning all, we need to chat.

Yes today is jobs day, and we'll get to that. But first we need to chat about yesterday for a minute.

We were up over 300 DOW points around noon yesterday. We had virtually eliminated the entire plunge we got on Wednesday. But then in the mid afternoon, the wheels came off and down we went. For a while there we were down 300, so yes, a 600 point round trip day.

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

Hey everyone, let me wish you all a happy mom's day. You're only here because of her, and I'm sure you've got a lot to thank her for! My mom loves flowers, and I find them quite beautiful too. So, flowers and her favorite dinner it is!

Enjoy the day with her!

Good morning all, welcome to another Friday.

First off, for any of you that didn't see yesterday's afternoon update, I have to take my mom back to the doctors this morning. She's got a growth on the side of her nose that they didn't like at all during yesterdays visit, and they want it gone. Today.

So, I have to get her to their surgery center by 9:30 this morning. That obviously puts a dent in my 10:40 update. So I'll do my update once I get her back home. I don't know what time that will be.

Good morning all, welcome to "never a dull moment"

Today the President decided to impose tariffs on the EU. Here's an actual "tweet" from Trump:

The World Trade Organization finds that the European Union subsidies to Airbus has adversely impacted the United States, which will now put Tariffs on $11 Billion of EU products! The EU has taken advantage of the U.S. on trade for many years. It will soon stop! - DJ Trump

Hello Everyone!

Today in the newsletter,  I am not writing about shut downs, tariffs, left/right bickering, or anything else. I'm simply wishing you a wonderful Christmas holiday and giving some examples of how we like to spend our day. I truly do hope your Christmas is a wonderful event for you, and you all get to spend it with your loved ones.

God bless!

Hello everyone, welcome to "as the world turns".  ( Remember that show?)

So what's the talking point of the morning? I think that one of the more interesting situations is what's going on in Paris.  The French people have had to put up with unwanted migrants from the Sub Sahara, and they hate it. Then their "leader" who's got like a 20% approval rating is all about the "Paris accord" concerning global warming.

So, it happened. The Democrats have retaken the house.

I didn't think it would happen. I knew it would be close, but I felt that with all the things we've seen over the past few months, that Americans would want to stop some of the insanity.  What insanity? Things like the Kavanaugh hearings. Things like facebook and twitter shutting down conservatives. Things like Maxine Waters telling people to "get up in their faces" and follow them into restaurants and gas stations.

Yesterday was an interesting "hot mess".  Whether the Rosenstein news was the cause or the excuse for a market fade, we did end up losing 181 DOW points and 10 S&P's.  The NASDAQ however, did an interesting move. It faded down and landed right on its 50 day moving average, and then bounced forcefully. It actually ended the day green.

Or maybe the fade wasn't about Rosenstein at all. Maybe it was the 200 billion in tariffs that got them spooked?

Good morning all, welcome to Wednesday.

For what ever reason you want to conjur up, the market put in a pretty good bounce day yesterday. The DOW ended up 113, the S&P picked up 10.

This morning the futures are flattish with a bent towards slightly green if you add in fair value.
