Hi all, welcome to Thanksgiving "eve".  Yes today is Wednesday and yes tomorrow is that special day where we're all asked to just hang out with family and friends and say some thanks. I'm looking forward to it. And yes the food makes the day complete. Just the smells that waft out of the kitchen is enough to set the stage for a great day.

Good morning all, we've made it to Friday.  Don't forget that next week is a shortened week because of the Thanksgiving Holiday.  The exchanges will be closed on Thanksgiving and only open a half day on Friday.

Good morning all, welcome to Thursday.

It's hard to believe that it's Thanksgiving next week. Where on earth did this year go?  The older I get, the faster it goes. Amazing.

Okay, so the market has been acting heavy, and I've been quite reluctant to suggest that it is anything more than just some funds taking profits and making their year look good for their brochures. Yesterday, after an initial plunge of about 160 points, they got us off the lows, tried to move us higher, but we ended the day pretty red.  We were just 30 points off the low of the day.

Good morning everyone, welcome to the eve of Thanksgiving.  While everyone has their favorite Holiday, Thanksgiving has always been mine. Yes Christmas is wonderful, as the meaning of the season is so important. But in Thanksgiving we get one thing that can resonate with everyone regardless of race, creed, color, etc.  That thing is... the reminder that every single one of us has something to be thankful for. Many of us are blessed in ways we don't even understand simply because we live in the US, and don't have to endure the squalor that so many billions contend with.

Good morning folks, we've made it to Friday.  Can you believe that in just 6 more days, it's Thanksgiving? Maybe it's just me, but where did this year go? I find it amazing that 80% of this year is gone already.

Okay, so here we are. There's still so much pulling and pushing going on, that it's still somewhat hard to figure how things move forward from here. In the same week that stocks moved higher once again, with tons of new 52 week highs, we find that billions of dollars once again left equity funds.  Our Fed's are on course to announce a rate hike early next month, but over in Europe, Draghi has said that Europe needs QE for "years to come".

Good morning all, welcome back from your Holiday.  I trust that you were smart enough not to go back for seconds (Like I did) so that you didn't have the dreaded "after dinner" wobbles.  I sure did, and enjoyed every minute of it. How can you not go in for "just a little more?"  I haven't the will power. The delicious aroma's, the wonderful tastes always trump my better sense.  Maybe it's a good thing that Thanksgiving only happens once a year, or I'd explode.

Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday. No, not because we get to pig out on more food than someone in Bangladesh could eat in a year, but because it demands of us to take at least ONE day to sit back and be thankful.  Because of the "rat race" we never have any time. We're always rushing here and running there, always stressed, always "too busy". And what gets left out?  The appreciation of what we truly have.

Good morning all, welcome to "Thanksgiving Eve" so to speak.

If today follows history, we'll open okay, gain a bit,... and then sit there for the balance of the day going nowhere. Most of the senior traders will punch out by 11 am, and leave the juniors and the robots to guard things.

Frankly I was a bit surprised at how weak Monday and Tuesday were. Usually the market magically levitates on Thanksgiving week, but so far all it's been able to do is "hover" around the unchanged line. I think that tends to show just how stretched and desperate this market is.

Thanksgiving is my favorite Holiday and luckily the market is usually quite generous during Thanksgiving week too. So our guess is that we'll continue the sideways and up move that we've seen lately. The worlds Central Bankers are "all in" on the idea, and unless we get a classic Black swan event, or the CB's decide to pull the rug, we "should" just continue to levitate this week. We're "leaning long and keeping our finger near the sell button"

Good morning all, welcome to Thanksgiving week. As you might guess, the market will be open Wednesday, but by 11 am, the day will effectively be "over". Then we're closed Thursday and we're only open for half a day on Friday.

Historically the market does well this week and this time should be no different. If they weren't about to roll the market over with all the chances it had last week, they probably won't this week either. So, we should expect a slow grind higher.
