Good morning all, welcome back from your weekend. As always I hope it was a really good one for you all. My wife had a fun day Saturday, as she wanted to get a new dress for the wedding she's going to in NJ. Her niece is getting married in November and she spent the day finding just the right dress and accessories.

Good morning all, we've made it to Friday. Oh and Friday the 13th no less. I guess that's fitting for an October, considering Halloween and this spooky market.

So they used yesterday as their pause day. The DOW faded off about 30 points, the S&P fell by about 4. Is that significant? In a 23K market, that's not even a rounding error.

Good morning everyone, I hope the morning finds you well.

Yesterday we had a "red" day. Late in the afternoon, they did their best to get us off the worst levels and when it was all over, we had the DOW off about 55, the S&P off about 5. In a market this tall, that's not even a rounding error. Some were blaming the fall on the increased rhetoric between NK and the US, but I don't really buy that. In the beginning acts of the war of words, the market would indeed get shook up over the strong language, but after seeing "nothing" happen time and time again, they've learned to ignore it all.

Good morning all, we've made it to Friday.

Well that didn't take long. Yesterday, Trump announced new sanctions against North Korea, and also stated that the Chinese would indeed be willing to stop all banking transactions with the nation. Around the Asian sphere, other nations curtailed their dealings with Kim, including stopping the shipment of oil to his country.

Good morning all, welcome to Friday.

Just as we thought we were all in the clear, the power blipped out on us yesterday at 3 pm, and didn't come back until 9. I wasn't about to go back to the generators, and just waited it out. It's amazing how fast your home can go from about 77 degrees to 87 degrees when it's 110 degrees in the sun.

Good morning all, welcome back from your long weekend. As always I truly hope you shared it with friends and family and really enjoyed yourselves. Ours wasn't as great as it could have been, simply because at the wife's office, the phone wouldn't stop ringing. Now normally you welcome excess business, But when it's labor day weekend and no one wants to work...it's hard to find coverage!  But hey, we got through it

Good morning all...

Well things have definitely gotten more interesting. After the close yesterday, news reports started crossing the wires suggesting that North Korea had fired a missile that was headed towards Japanese air space, and that eventually broke into 3 parts, falling into the water.

Good morning all, we've made it to another Friday.  They just keep rolling on. This one is pretty special for my wife however, she's leaving today to fly back to NJ and spend a week with her dad. We lost her mom  way too young and her and her dad are really looking forward to getting together for a bit.  So it's a happy morning here.

Mornin' all, welcome to a new day.

Yesterday afternoon looked a lot like so many that have come before. Down and sloppy for most of the day, with a push towards the flat line in the final hour
