Well, we didn't get hit as badly with the weather as they had suggested, but areas around us sure did. When one particular cell came ashore to the North of us, they recorded 889 cloud to ground lightening strikes in 9 minutes. Wow, that' s pretty heavy fire. We got some wind, rain and a few boomers, but nothing worth noting.

Good morning everyone, and welcome back from your extended weekend. ( If you had an extended weekend that is, for many it was simply another work day)

Hey everyone we've made it to Friday. That seemed pretty quick to me!

Okay, so yesterday the incredible bubble market expanded even more. All day I heard analysts almost gushing about how wonderful things are. Yet to a tee, I didn't hear a one of them mention  that the Central banks had printed 2.1 trillion dollars in 2017. I guess they didn't get that memo?

Hello all, welcome back from your weekend. Was it a good one for you, or just another day? Down here in Florida, we were all celebrating the first real blast of fall weather!  After 7 months of dealing with 85+ degree weather, a couple cold fronts have scooted through, dropping the temps into the 70's and it's been glorious. Sure it's been too windy, but to be able to shut off the A/C and open the windows has been a real blessing.  While the longer term forecast has us back in the low 80's soon, we'll take what we can get!

Good morning all, welcome back from your weekend. I hope it was a good one for you all. Down here in Florida, things got a little wild weather-wise. For two days we had been warned that Sunday afternoon could bring dangerous weather, starting at about 3 pm. I'm a bit of a weather geek ( you get that way when you live on the Jersey shore and like to venture 100 miles offshore to chase yellowfin and longfin tuna)  and said on Friday that I thought the weather would make its appearance around 8 pm.

Good morning all, welcome to a new week. As always I hope that your weekend went well. Down here in "not so sunny" Florida, we're still in the midst of one of the worst summers on record. Temps have been in the 90's since June 18th, and not a day goes by where we're not slammed with a thunderstorm, or two. Or ten.  But there's always a bright side. The lousy weather has given me the time/opportunity to rearrange the garage, and do a lot of the bothersome things that needed doing for quite some time.

Good morning everyone, welcome back from the weekend. As always, I hope it was a great one for you.

Ours was better than many, as we had folks over Saturday night to watch the UFC pay per view event, which was a good time. Then Sunday...the weather God's tried to fake us out of our bike and beach routine, but we waited them out and sure enough the storms passed, the sun came out and we spent the afternoon frolicking in the "too warm" gulf waters.  So all in all, the weekend was "great!".  I hope yours was too.

Good morning everyone, welcome back from your Christmas weekend. I truly hope it was a great time for you all. Our prayers go out to the folks hit by the wicked weather yesterday, as it is indeed quite sad to see giant tornado's sweeping across the nation in December. Stay safe out there!

Good morning everyone, welcome back from your weekend. As always we hope it was a great one for you!  My prayers continue to go out to all of you in the South Carolina area, as I know the pain you're going through with all that flooding. Ouch.  Down here in "not so sunny" Florida, we continue to battle a weather pattern that has dropped more rain on us than anyone can imagine. As a matter of fact, the wife and I dared to take our bike ride to the beach yesterday. Sure enough of the way back we ran into a massive squall of driving rain and small hail. Well, there's nowhere to hide on that particular trail, so we had no choice but to just ride through it.  I couldn't have been wetter had I simply jumped in the river.
