G20, The UN, and Rudolph
One might ponder how Rudolph the Reindeer gets included in an article concerning the UN and the G20 meeting, but I think you’ll see that there is a connection.
First off, as I’ve been mentioning for several weeks, the big headline news is that Trump and XI are meeting in Argentina at the G20 assembly, and the topic de-jour is of course tariffs. I’ve got a bit of an issue writing about that, because it is Saturday as I pen this, and their meeting isn’t over until this evening. So, by the time you are reading this Sunday morning, what ever happened is probably all over the news
My take on it was 1) if there’s NO deal, and no de-escalation of rhetoric, the recent market run up will roll over. Badly. 2) If they call a ‘cease fire” and while not coming to a deal so to speak, they announce that the implementation of more tariffs has been put on hold for another 3 - 6 months, the market will be “okay” with that and we can move higher. 3) if a substantial deal of some magnitude is announced, and it looks like it could work, we’re going to see a much higher market.
As I said, by the time you are reading this on Sunday, what ever was to happen, has already probably happened.
So, let’s move on to something that’s been making waves lately, namely the UN’s idea of a set of “rules” concerning “migration” which is to be voted on in Morocco on Dec. 10 - 11. Folks this is truly disturbing stuff.
As you are aware, Europe and the Scandinavian nations are awash in “migrants” from Sub-Sahara. Sold as a humanitarian drive, it is nothing of the sort. This isn’t a million people fleeing from oppression and war. This isn’t a humanitarian act of kindness. This isn’t even an “invasion” as some have declared. This is however, a coordinated plot to homogenize the European people.
History is a scary place. If you read enough of it you find that there were high level lunatics all throughout the ages, and interestingly enough, many of them had specific agendas they wanted carried out. We’re living through some of those very agenda’s right now, despite their roots having been set many decades ago.
The “new world order” of which the now deceased President Bush talked of so fondly, has been in the works for 150 years. The elites had a wet dream of a one world order, with no borders, a common language, a common money, and the doing away with sovereign states. As far as the population goes, they detest the idea of a white race, and a black race. What they want is an integrated “brown” race.
The EU experiment is the result of these lunatics. It is their “test run” so to speak, as to how a centrally governed “area”, with a common currency, and common laws would function. Well the fact is that it’s a dismal failure. You simply cannot take 17 different cultures, with each having their own identity, language, heritage, religious beliefs, etc, and meld them into a harmonious “one”.
But just because it isn’t working (think of the folks wanting out such as Brexit) doesn’t mean they will stop their tireless work about making it happen. Thus, the mass migration situation in Europe has NOTHING to do with refugees. This is a bought and paid for assimilation of third world blacks, into first world white states. Their hope is that enough interracial activity will take place wherein in a couple quick generations, there’s no White Europe. There’s simply “brown people” with the leadership in Brussels calling the shots.
Hence the UN’s new: Intergovernmental Conference to Adopt a Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration. This manifesto that they’ll be voting on next week, takes away sovereign rights of nations to halt migration, and sets up very stiff penalties for trying to subvert it.
And, to make sure that those silly white European people don’t interfere with their quest to homogenize the continent, the UN suggests nothing short of making it a hate crime to even question the topic of migrants. (interestingly in 14 nations questioning the holocaust is a jail -able offense) Consider some of the language in this proposal:

We commit to eliminate all forms of discrimination, condemn and counter expressions, acts and manifestations of racism, racial discrimination, violence, xenophobia and related intolerance against all migrants in conformity with international human rights law. We further commit to promote an open and evidence-based public discourse on migration and migrants in partnership with all parts of society, that generates a more realistic, humane and constructive perception in this regard.
If you want to read the entire thing, and I think you should because it is enlightening to see just how intent they are in continuing the “migrations” here is the link to the actual proposal https://www.un.org/pga/72/wp-content/uploads/sites/51/2018/07/migration.pdf

Nowhere in the entire proposal are any answers as to who’s going to pay for all these folks that will need medicine, food, infrastructure, housing, etc. Worse is the fact that while a full 78% of the citizens of Europe want caps on migration, NONE of the population was given any chance to voice their opinions on the subject. In fact, if the UN passes this nightmare, it would be a CRIME to question it.

The truly beautiful part of all this, is the fact that several nations have indeed pushed back against this, and that list is growing all the time. Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Hungary, the US and a few others have said “No way” to this.

Naturally that ticked off the elitists in Brussels, and their aging jawbone Jean-Claude Juncker jumped right up to criticize those nations. During a speech in Berlin, he said Europe “must do everything possible” to kill populism on the continent.
Speaking at an event held by German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung (SZ), the EU Commission president said that the growing number of European governments withdrawing from the agreement must be ignorant of its contents.
No they’re NOT ignorant of the contents. They’ve seen the disaster that is parts of Sweden and parts of France and they want no part of it. Rapes, murders, “no go” zones, crippled budgets, overwhelmed healthcare systems, rising taxes to pay for it, overburdened police, etc.

Yet the lunatic socialists will NEVER stop pushing their new world agenda. Which is how Rudolph gets into this article. One thing I have always given the lunatic left credit for is never giving up. So what is it now that has the Social justice warriors knickers in a twist? They say Rudolph the Red nosed Reindeer should be banned from TV because it was “seriously problematic” over claims that it features sexism and bullying.
Among those observations was the suggestion that the TV classic was a story about racism and homophobia, while calling Santa Claus abusive and bigoted.
The Huffington post ran the story (like that’s a surprise) and sure enough SWJ’s jumped on the bandwagon. But they didn’t stop there. No, surely there was other Christmas themes they could target and vent their imaginary problems with?

Listeners to Cleveland Radio Station Star 102 had to pull the 1944 song “Baby it’s cold outside” off the air after listeners called it “manipulative”, Sexist, “bordering on rape”, Etc.

It’s crap like this that makes me wish every social justice warrior had to live for one year in a third world starving nation. Just one year is all it would take for them to realize that maybe their time could be better spent than making up imaginary offenses.
The Market:
As I noted above, by the time you read this, what ever is going to come out of the G20 is out. So, back on Thursday and Friday I had a decision to make. Should I sell the WMT, SPY and DIA we were carrying, or just trim it up and carry half positions through the weekend?
I decided to sell half’s, and hold half over. My thinking was that I had a 2 to 1 advantage. How? Again, if a deal gets done, the market should soar. If no deal gets done, but they “cease fire” and hold things where they are, I think the market goes higher. Only if they not only don’t get a deal done, but come away worse off, will the market resort to vomiting.
So there it is. If the market accepts what comes out of the meeting, I see no reason why we can’t get to challenge the “bounce double top” set around 2815 on the S&P. Heck we could even see them punch through that and try and flirt with the 2900 highs. If they don’t like what happens, We’ll test the 2600 level pretty rapidly.
Good luck out there folks!
