Good morning all, it's Friday. Again.

So yesterday was an interesting show. A nice fat open, that looked pretty good, then a nasty swoon that took all that green away and for all intents, looked like we were going to  roll over red again. But no, they halted the slide and started  another low volume creep higher. It became impressive, and we ended the day with the DOW up 181 and the S&P up 23.

Hello all. In a way it feels like yesterday was a Sunday and I'm welcoming you back from the weekend. But no, it's simply a Thursday morning after a big Holiday. So, how was it? Did you have a fun day, full of BBQ, a few beers and good times with friends and family? Or was it just another day?

Check out today's free investing newsletter and see the "twist" that most people aren't aware of. It's pretty interesting and hey, the price is right.

After voting for independence, Congress turned its attention to the Declaration of Independence, a statement explaining this decision, which had been prepared by a Committee of Five, with Thomas Jefferson as its principal author. Congress debated and revised the wording of the Declaration, finally approving it two days later on July 4. A day earlier, John Adams had written to his wife Abigail:

How rich was that? All day, and I mean literally all day the DOW was down about 120 and the S&P was down 10. But hey, it's the first day of the new month/new quarter and they can't have their precious market looking weak, so what happens? They engage the magic levitation machine and up we go, ending the day green across the board.

Is that the results of millions of individual investors across the globe, all  deciding it was the perfect time to save the 50 day moving average? HELL NO.
