Good morning all, welcome to Wednesday.

Remember a while back I was saying that the Bank of International Settlements was making noise that it was "time" to start taking some of the excess out of the market? They meant it might be time to start "normalizing" things such as rates, and reducing asset balance sheets. Well the markets have ignored them. Here's a blurb about what the BIS was thinking:

Well now. This is interesting isn't it.

Yesterday they had all the chances in the world to sell the market. In the morning, they did just that. But then they slowly came in and worked it right back up, pulling off a 3 point S&P gain and just a one point DOW loss.

Good morning everyone, we've made it to another Friday. Is it me or do they just roar on by faster and faster?  It sure seems like this week was a blur

Hello all, Happy Wednesday to you.

NOTE>>> I have a Cisco "workstation" splitter that sends net to three different devices here in the office. Well, it's dying. Starting last night it would periodically just shut down, and I'd have to reboot it. It's happened 2X this am already. When it happens, my work computer and my trading computer go down.  I know I have another one somewhere in my boxes of electrical junk, and I'm going to try and find it  after the open.  I'm simply warning that I might be late with the second update.

Good morning everyone, welcome to Wednesday.

Yesterday was a roller coaster ride of up and downs in a relatively narrow range. I lost count of how many times we dipped red/went green/went red. But when it was all over and the final bell had rung, we had finally eeked out a green close on both the DOW and the S&P. While it wasn't gangbusters, we got 39 DOW points and just about 1.5 on the S&P.

Hello everyone. Are you ready for another day in this wonderland we call a market?

Yesterday followed the plot of the day before. A deep drop at the open, which they spent the bulk of the day fixing. On Monday we had dropped 226 only to end the day down 122. Yesterday we were down 186 only to end the day down 107

Good morning all, I hope the day finds you well....

They closed out yesterday with a pretty good showing. However like the day before it, there was a time or two where the DOW wasn't far away from going red. That shows us that as much as they're still deploying new money in areas, there are people heading for the exits. It will be interesting to see who wins in the longer term.

Hello everyone, welcome to Wednesday.  Today we get another chance to try and figure out what the "big picture" is going to bring us.

Monday we started out flat, and ended the day - 50ish. Yesterday we got into the green, only to end the day down 85.  This morning the futures were slightly red at 6 am, but have improved a lot. At 8 am I see the S&P up 4.

Morning all, welcome to Post Primary day.  Yes indeed yesterday was the Florida primary elections for so many local and even state seats that Florida was buzzing with activity at the polls. So, last night we got to see some of the winners. There were some interesting results.

Good morning all, welcome to Wednesday.  Let's see what's in store...

Yesterday they allowed a red session. After dipping as low as 2147 they jumped in and got back 10 points, ending the day at 2157.  So, they manufactured a bounce that took them over 2155, which I thought was an important level.

This morning the futures are a bit red. By a bit, I mean the DOW is off 30, the S&P off 3.  That's basically nothing.
