Morning all, welcome back. Did you do anything wonderful this weekend?  I hope so.

Down here in insanely hot Florida, we had the bright idea that we were going to do a bit of trail hiking. But, when we got to where we were going and got out of the car, it only took us about 5 minutes to realize that 95 degrees and 70+% humidity was simply "not enjoyable." So, we nixed it all, went home and fiddled around the house.

Good morning all, welcome back from your weekend. I hope it was a good one for you all. Down here in Florida, things got a little wild weather-wise. For two days we had been warned that Sunday afternoon could bring dangerous weather, starting at about 3 pm. I'm a bit of a weather geek ( you get that way when you live on the Jersey shore and like to venture 100 miles offshore to chase yellowfin and longfin tuna)  and said on Friday that I thought the weather would make its appearance around 8 pm.

Alone

I am the antithesis to TV watchers. I simply do not watch much TV at all. I’ll watch the occasional Football game or hockey game, but other than that? I’ve never seen House of Cards. I’ve never seen Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, The Good wife, etc.  I do watch more than my share of CNBC, but that’s only because I’m handcuffed to the chair and I have to see what the criminals are talking about.

To some folks, they must think I’m suffering from some form of self abuse. “Bob, do you mean you’re not binge watching real housewives??”’  Uhm, sorry, never saw it.  “OMG!” they shriek.

In years gone by, I’ve watched my fair share of things. MASH for instance was often a favorite of mine. Likewise the first 4 seasons of “Deadliest Catch” was something I would watch  regularly. But in the last ten years or so, my ability to sit through reality shows, and a lot of the fluff they call “good TV” just doesn’t resonate with me.  However there was one show that started last year on the History Channel that did catch my attention. It is called “Alone”.
