Good morning everyone, welcome back from your weekend.

Ours was pretty subdued this week. The latest round of Chemo had my wife feeling pretty low, and the best thing she could do was lounge around the house and take naps. Naturally I wasn't about to sprint off and go do fun things while she suffered, so I hung around the house and kept myself busy

Good morning all, welcome to Friday.

Just as we thought we were all in the clear, the power blipped out on us yesterday at 3 pm, and didn't come back until 9. I wasn't about to go back to the generators, and just waited it out. It's amazing how fast your home can go from about 77 degrees to 87 degrees when it's 110 degrees in the sun.

Hello everyone, welcome to hump day.

Yesterday they wanted to put on the show of bravado, and pull the market back up from its 'north korea" missile dip. Well, they did it just as we figured they might. In fact, not only did they pull the DOW up from a 100 point loss, they tacked on another almost 60 green points. It was all great theatre, and  kept the bull dreams alive.

Hello everyone, welcome to a better day ( for me anyway)

Yesterday I was way out of the loop taking care of the sickly son, but from what I saw, I didn't miss much. A massive ramp out of the gate, and then a slight fade off to cruise into the close with a gain of 135 DOW points, and 24 S&P's. The big winner was the 83 on the NASDAQ. That's a lot.

Good morning all, we've made it to Friday.  For many of you I'm sure it couldn't have come fast enough!

Yesterday was simply butt ugly. When you look at a chart of the DOW you see that it didn't just fall 254 points. What it did was fall under its 200 day moving average.  It also fell through the 20 day moving average. It even fell below the loose support at 17560.  Decliners outpaced advancers by over 4 to 1.
