Mornin all, Let's get to it.

So last night everyone was glued to their TV's as Iran apparently had launched a dozen missiles at a US base in Iraq.  I was watching with the wife, and I said to her, "this is BS, they're going to shoot these missiles into the desert and kill no one, but they'll show their population the video's of the launches and tell them how tough they are against the US"

Friday. Yes indeed it's another Friday. But at least this Friday is sort of special.

Today is the longest sunlight day of the year. The summer solstice. After today, we will begin losing from 30 seconds to a minute of daylight per day. You won't notice it for about a month, but thenone day you'll be outside in the evening and be surprised that it's starting to get dark "so early"

Good morning all, welcome to an amazing time in history.

Because Asia is on the other side of the earth, it was  last night that Trump and Kim Jong Un met up and signed a declaration. The nay sayers are already all over the airwaves saying that there was nothing concrete, no hard facts about inspections, etc. etc.

Well that changes things.

You all know what happened. Last night the US launched 50 Tomahawk missiles into Syria in response to the supposed chemical attacks that Assad did on his own people.

Only one of two things is playing out there folks. Either Trump has been surrounded by so many War mongering NeoCon's that want war with Russia and he's swallowed the hook, or we're witnessing a game of 3D chess the likes of we've never seen before.

Good morning all, welcome to what looks like a nasty day shaping up.

Last night the China market opened and inside of just 15 minutes it fell over 7%, causing their circuit breakers to kick in and stop all trading for the day. That news traveled around the world quickly  and all the global markets took a pretty big hit. Last I looked Germany was down almost 400 points.

Good morning all, welcome to Thursday morning.

The big anticipation last night was that everyone's eyes were on China. After being closed for 7 days for Holiday, the wonder was...would they open big and join the global rally party, or would they be the Debbie Downers and be weak. Well what really happened was sort of "meh".  They were down, they were up.... they didn't do much of anything. But because they didn't outright crash, everyone was figuring that they'd see big fat green futures this morning. Well....that didn't happen either. Although they are well off the morning lows, at 8 am we have the DOW futures off 56 and the S&P down 6.  That's a big improvement over 6am when I saw DOW - 78 and S&P down 9.
