Good morning everyone, welcome to a new week.  I trust that you had a good weekend and capped it off with the Superbowl?

That's what happened here. We did our goofy running around on Saturday, then on Sunday after Church the wife and I went over to the beach and put in a serious 3 mile walk. It was quite an interesting stroll because there were periods where the sea fog would roll through and visibility would drop to a couple hundred feet. Then just as fast, the sun would punch through and it would be clear as a bell.

Good morning all, welcome back from your weekend. As always I hope it was a great one for you.  A few notes about ours....

I guess it isn't professional, but I often inject personal stories into the updates. The "why" is simple. I'm supposedly still human. We all have issues that arise, we all have little victories, we all have experiences. Sometimes sharing them helps others learn something, or at least sympathize with some of the things that happen in their own lives.  So If I find something I find interesting, I'll share it.

On Monday night the Superbowl of debates took place. I’ll be the first to say that Trump didn’t do as well as I’d have liked. It’s hard to look good against a 30 year criminal politician, that’s been trained to the core on how to deflect, duck, change topics, ridicule, etc. Her handlers had shined her up well. No coughing fits, no mysterious eye movement and she smiled a lot. Quite unlike the nasty glare she generally displays.

The Superbowl was everything I wanted to see in a game. Ups and downs, incredible catches, a close game. I hope you all enjoyed it too. But today is Monday and the market doesn't feel as good as the Patriots do right now. We've been flirting with some technical levels that could very well spell a major change in market direction.
