Happy Day before Thanksgiving!

So, the futures are green this morning, and we should put in a mild up day. Because of the Holiday, there's a good chance that what ever is going to happen, will happen by noon, and then everyone's going to make it for the exits.

Good morning everyone. Did you survive Thanksgiving?  Naturally I joke, but sometimes families get together with the right intentions on TG only to have quarrels flare up, etc.

We had none of that. It was a gloriously peaceful day and I pray the same for you.

First off, a hearty "happy Thanksgiving" to you all. It's my favorite holiday of the year, and in today's letter I explain why. But then I also put out a public service announcement concerning an event that just happened to us.

I suggest you read today's letter, it is VERY important.

Again, have a tremendous holiday and spend it with those you love. It's a great day.

Happy Thanksgiving All
There’s no market commentary today, just some random thoughts, a PSA to Everyone, and some well wishes.
Yes it’s Thanksgiving. It’s my favorite Holiday of the year. Why? The easy answer is that I get to smell a cornucopia of food cooking all day, I get to ignore Wall Street for a day, I get to hang around with people I love.

Hi all, welcome to Thanksgiving "eve".  Yes today is Wednesday and yes tomorrow is that special day where we're all asked to just hang out with family and friends and say some thanks. I'm looking forward to it. And yes the food makes the day complete. Just the smells that waft out of the kitchen is enough to set the stage for a great day.

Good morning all, we've made it to Friday.  Don't forget that next week is a shortened week because of the Thanksgiving Holiday.  The exchanges will be closed on Thanksgiving and only open a half day on Friday.

Good morning all, welcome to Thursday.

It's hard to believe that it's Thanksgiving next week. Where on earth did this year go?  The older I get, the faster it goes. Amazing.

Okay, so the market has been acting heavy, and I've been quite reluctant to suggest that it is anything more than just some funds taking profits and making their year look good for their brochures. Yesterday, after an initial plunge of about 160 points, they got us off the lows, tried to move us higher, but we ended the day pretty red.  We were just 30 points off the low of the day.

Good morning everyone, welcome to the eve of Thanksgiving.  While everyone has their favorite Holiday, Thanksgiving has always been mine. Yes Christmas is wonderful, as the meaning of the season is so important. But in Thanksgiving we get one thing that can resonate with everyone regardless of race, creed, color, etc.  That thing is... the reminder that every single one of us has something to be thankful for. Many of us are blessed in ways we don't even understand simply because we live in the US, and don't have to endure the squalor that so many billions contend with.

Good morning folks, we've made it to Friday.  Can you believe that in just 6 more days, it's Thanksgiving? Maybe it's just me, but where did this year go? I find it amazing that 80% of this year is gone already.

Okay, so here we are. There's still so much pulling and pushing going on, that it's still somewhat hard to figure how things move forward from here. In the same week that stocks moved higher once again, with tons of new 52 week highs, we find that billions of dollars once again left equity funds.  Our Fed's are on course to announce a rate hike early next month, but over in Europe, Draghi has said that Europe needs QE for "years to come".

Good morning all, welcome back from your Holiday.  I trust that you were smart enough not to go back for seconds (Like I did) so that you didn't have the dreaded "after dinner" wobbles.  I sure did, and enjoyed every minute of it. How can you not go in for "just a little more?"  I haven't the will power. The delicious aroma's, the wonderful tastes always trump my better sense.  Maybe it's a good thing that Thanksgiving only happens once a year, or I'd explode.
